customisation options. Light surfaces, generous
openings and sheltered living areas reveal the
project's architectural language.

level. The upper town, valleys and old quarters
offer shifting perspectives when explored on

have been UNESCO World Heritage since 1994.
The Grund and Bock Casemates reveal its
defensive history, while everyday spaces
introduce a more intimate scale.

Jack Armstrong's work invites viewers to move
closer and then step back. Marks, layers of
colour and intense surfaces form a world
transformed by the viewing position. The artist
calls this language Cosmic X, locating it at the
origins of his Cosmic Extensionalism movement
in 1999.
Painting becomes an exploration of rhythm and
contrast: small marks generate an energy fully
perceived only in the whole. The archive's works
express different aspects of this search. A
response may begin with colour, move through
texture and follow the paths each composition
suggests. Looking at art also means giving it
