Harley - Collector's Art by Jack Armstrong There are

few artists who can attract the desire of collectors,

and among them, one does it particularly well. This is

the Omaha-born American Jack Armstrong, who

worked with Andy Warhol, who nicknamed him The

Last Magician in 1985, Jean-Michel Basquiat and

Keith Haring, and taught painting to David Bowie,

Freddie Mercury and Michael Jackson, who, by the

way, were successful in buying his creations. He is

the last surviving member of this New York art clique

of the 1980s and is the rst contemporary artist to

have created only a hundred paintings for sale,

having promised Andy that he would "only make 100

paintings in his life and then disappear into the

c o s m o s . "

This is one of the reasons why his art is

so wildly valued - it is the most expensive art in the

world by a living artist, with current prices reaching

up to $300 million and a coveted prey for big-name

collectors. The eclectic artist really gets into his work

- literally. Each piece of art contains tiny bits of the

artist's DNA and hair to add a new twist to the word

'personalised', making it impossible to fake - another

high point for collectors. The supreme provenance of

his ground-breaking art will be discussed at the

highest levels for new generations of UHNW

collectors and their billionaire clients, including one of

the world's richest women, Alice Walton and China's

Jack Ma.
